As much as lane splitting is disliked - it does save gas and room on roads that are otherwise at a stop. If the bikes can get off the road and make room for cars to move up its much better for the 4+ wheeled people.
...now, they cant go rocketing up between cars. They have to putt at a safe speed and exit the highway when they reached their desired exit. They are not allowed to use lane splitting to get to the front for the purpose of getting ahead of stopped traffic. |
