Dont know for you, mrweasel, but I use SMP Client Version 5.91beta6 together with GPU2 client...and they both work together without any problems. I can do everything else I usually do, and there are no lockups or anything else.
Oh, and I just remembered...acruxksa asked whether gpu2 needs its own cpu core to work...and i said no...but now i saw that it does. Sorryyyyy....it wasnt intentional...   But so what...cpu folding time is maybe 2-3mins per step longer than if you dedicate 100% of cpu speed to fold on cpu alone (11mins vs. 8mins), but in meanwhile...gpu folds like crazy...so in my opinion....its still better to fold on both if possible, than only on cpu or gpu alone.
