This beta probably isn't the best indicator whether the game is going to be good or not. You can only play through the first area, which is pretty short. When you reach the town, they max out your character level, with no talents and only a few attributes to dump points into. There's also only a few PVP game types and maps to choose from.
The PVP games also currently have some bad lag going on. Understandable considering they just opened up their servers. Not sure if i'm technically allowed to put up screens because of the NDA. You wouldn't want to see any from me currently anyway, having some texture problems. Some textures randomly have a layer of yellow coloring them, makes it look rather nasty. Gonna update graphics drivers and see if that makes a difference.
Fileplanet is also hosting a beta weekend soon, increasing the player cap from 20k to 50k. Probably subscribers only, but they usually open up registration to free accounts for popular betas after a few waves of invites go out. |
