I have a Striker Extreme too, and I used to have the same problem. It is easy to reach 3.6GHz and a 1600MHz FSB if you follow what I write.
1) Get the 1504 Beta bios. (search on google, asus keeps it secret)
2) Take the change and update the bios. Most likely it wont restart after reboot.
3) If it wont start, pull off the battery for 15 minutes and put it on again. Dont try to reset the bios with the mobo buttons, nothing will work. If it starts go to 5)
4) Insert the battery again and it will start up nicely with bios 1504.
5) In Bios load factory settings. Go to extreme tweaker menu and go to the memory part. Choose unlinked, adjust FSB til 1600 and make sure that memory is at 800.
6) Save, reboot, and see if it feels stable in Windows.
7) If it is stable you can go to bios again and disable C1E and Speedstep.
That should work perfectly with a Striker Extreme, Q6600G0 and a set of DDR2-6400. I works for me. _________________ --------------
