Hi All,

I am back after a while. I am for some reason unable to overclock my computer, and dont know why.

My system setup is as follow:

ASUS Striker Extreme with firmware 1503 (beta)
Intel Q6600 G0 (temps: 25-45c using coretemp)
4 Pcs of 2 GB Corsair XMS2 Extreme DDR2 800/PC6400
EVGA Nvidia 8800GTX
Thermaltake toughpower 850W
Thermaltake watercooled CPU and Chassis
Seagate 250GB disk
Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate 64

When I try overclock, the computer boots and start loading windows - after a short period it come up with hardware malfunction and a message asking me to contact my systemadministrator or something like that.

I have tryed to go for 2.8 GHz, 3 GHz, and 3.3 GHz, using the unlinked feature. All giving me the same problem.

I allready tryed different things:

Remove 2 of the memory modules
Adjust VCore to auto, to 1.35 and to 1.4.

It seems to have happend after I upgraded with memory, the bios from firmware 1301 and added the watercooling. Now that I have watercooling, there is less wínd in the chassis, so can it be the chipset that needs cooling to go above the 2.4 Ghz or what else would you recommend me to try next?
