According to the Jewlers of america, the wedding set should run 3x your monthly salary!!! Your GROSS Monthly salary!!! Could you imagine???
"Ok lets see, second on the house, sell the car, buy a 13" TV and a $600 beater car... finance 3/4 of the rings... then all I need is another $5000 - $10,000 for wedding. Then in 5 years when all that is paid off at 9% interest, step up to a $1500 beater and start saving for another house!!!!"
