Finally, one last thing that really excited me was presented by Amiga! For those that have been into computers for decades, the Amiga is probably not a new name for you. If like me, you thought they died off, well they havn't. Their focus has changed from hardware to software. The first phase of the new Amiga OS, is available as Amiga Anywhere version 2. This new platform allows software to run on all types of devices including cell phones, audio/video players, laptops, desktops, servers and cameras. Currently the Amiga Anywhere software is available for Windows, Windows Mobile, Linux, and Linus Embedded. Soon they will have it available for Symbian and MAC. In addition to running software written for Amiga Anywhere version 2, it will also run the classic Amiga software! I can't wait to check this out!

Unfortunately you may want to reserve your excitement. What is left of the Amiga community has been dealing with announcements upon announcements for years with great frustration. Bill is mostly the butt of jokes these days from the Amiga community itself from one disappointment after another. That said do you have any pictures of their table or presentation or Bill McEwen there? Amigaworld.net, Amiga.org, and the English Amiga Board sites would love to see such if you have any to share.
