I bought a new video card from Newegg a few weeks ago... Shipped out on a Thursday, and on Friday I had a package already, even though I paid for 3 day shipping! Nice! Anyway, I didn't have a chance to look at it until Sunday, and when I open it up I find it is a free game that they threw in. What a let down, I thought I was about to install my new card. Pretty funny that a free game made it overnight, but the card itself took until the following Wednesday to show up... Uggh.

Anyway, that was minimal drama, the bigger drama came today when trying to complete the paperwork for the $20 rebate. They wanted the UPC, the rebate form, and the invoice as usual... But they also wanted the original packing list! WTF

- who asks for the packing slip? Problem was I had thrown it out days ago... and I have been on this kick of shredding everything that will fit into the shredder.

So, it turned into a craft project at my 6-year old's "project table". Like putting together a soggy, stinky puzzle using a sticky note board to hold all the strips in place until I could tape them all back together.
