I would say NJ politicians are bigger losers than in most states. First of all, for getting rid of this... And second, for wasting their time on this when much more important things need to be addressed. No one has been executed here since 1963, why the sudden need to ban it? It's not like there is a traffic jam at the electric chair, or something.
How about sneaking those few death row inmates through before the law goes into effect and saving the tax payers from having to feed and shelter them for the next several decades? If I am not mistaken, tax payers love saving money! |
