With a Scope you should be able to put the rounds through the same hole Wink

It's taking me some time to adjust to the carbine and the way my eyes focus. This was the first real outing with this rifle so considering all that, I did very well.

....What rate of twist of rifling? bullet length(weight) and twist plays a BIG part of accuracy. 1:9" is good from 60grs upto about 70grs. It might over stabilize 50-55gr bullets and have a bullet pointed straight throughout the arc of flight. The bullet will be pointed straight but flying in arc, air resistance will lift the bullet nose up and it will start tumbling - resulting in a keyhole hole.

It's rifled with a 1:9; I'm using standard Winchester .223 rounds with 55 Gr FMJ. I also have some 5.56mm 55 Gr FMJ ammo but haven't tried those yet.
