I concur with Cheezy.. 100yrd/m should be 1" group or less. 1.fraction there of an inch at 100yrd is 1 MOA. All rifles should shoot that.
What rate of twist of rifling? bullet length(weight) and twist plays a BIG part of accuracy. 1:9" is good from 60grs upto about 70grs. It might over stabilize 50-55gr bullets and have a bullet pointed straight throughout the arc of flight. The bullet will be pointed straight but flying in arc, air resistance will lift the bullet nose up and it will start tumbling - resulting in a keyhole hole. |
