I've had water cooling in the past, it's nice once it's setup. But setup isn't very fun, and I had mine spring a leak after a week. I'm just glad I used Fluid XP and it was at the reservoir and not the water block. I'll stick with air. As for quad core or dual core, I probably won't even fully utilize two, no reason to spend the money on four. By the time I need four(or more) it'll be time for a new PC again.
