What temp monitoring are you using? As a recent upgrader to a C2D processor myself, I was confused by what Core Temp was showing... Both cores of my e6850 below ambient on the stock cooler.
I just upgraded to Core Temp 0.95.4 (from 0.95) and the values are more realistic, but I still don't know if I trust them. I do see they raised the Tjunction temp from 85 to 100... Huh?
Back at stock speed, idle, with air cooling I see 27C and 32C... Room temp is about 21C. |
