TexasVol,
Lower the cpu multiplier to 7 and raise the fsb and memory to 400 Mhz (800Mhz DDR2). This will remove the cpu from the equation since it will only be running at 2.8Ghz. if it is unstable, then your likely culprit is either the memory or the fsb and you may want to raise one or both their voltages (do this in small increments with caution). It already appear that you have raised these a bit, so I'm not sure if you should go too much higher. What mobo and memory?
Just fyi, 3150Mhz for a q6600 is still very acceptable. Not all quad cpu's will reach 3.4 or 3.6ghz. without knowing anything about your setup I would guess your cpu is the culprit.
I would also point out that at a certain point, these cpu's show a huge jump in temperature for only a small gain in speed. My cpu for instance runs great at 9x367 (3.3Ghz), but is 3-4 degrees celsius hotter that at 8x400 (3.2Ghz) with the same voltage setting. Because of this I eventually lowered mine down to 3.2Ghz. It's much cooler, with no noticeable loss in performance. _________________
