Hi all,
I am back again. Now I changed my q6600b3 to a q6600G0. I havent done so much overclocking yet - just plugged it in and clocked it to run at 3 GHz, just as my old CPU.
With coretemp I recognised temperatures up about 72c on my B3, where my new G0 come close to 65c. Both temps are read from the coretemp logfile, after a Futuremark 2006 test. The biggest thing here is that my voltage has falled from +1.3v og 1.1v - both measured on 3 GHz.
A q6600@3.3GHz running loaded, measureing a temperature below 50c seems to be magic for me. What have you done to get is so low? _________________ --------------
