My faithful Compaq V1100 21" monitor finally bit the dust just 15 minutes ago. Almost 8 years of service..
It was part of a PC package I won back in late '99. ...a complete Compaq Athlon 700 slot A w/GeForce DDR card system. The only thing I have left of that win are my JBL Pro speakers that still thump(knocks on wood).
This really sucks.. cuz I haven't seen a monitor built since that I liked as well as the V1100. |
