| I know that for the athlon 64 dual ddr = 2x mem bandwidth and significant increase in performance. AMD uses 128 bit wide path to memory. Is it same for intel? I am running a C2D with 1 gig of ddr2 800mhz. WIll adding another stick double the memory bandwidth like it does for AMD? I think intel uses 64 bit path to memory so it won't make much difference. ANybody know? |
