As an update to this already (will be incorporated later)...
Thermalright says the HR-05 IFX SLI should be in US stores soon, if it isn't yet and the MSRP is $29.95.
They also say that the fit was made loose in order to protect the fragile chipset core. While Modulok's installation seems too loose, I agree that these chips are more susceptible to cracking/crushing and you have to be more careful when installing a cooler than on a CPU. |
