OK I did the thermal paste over, removing the heatsink and cpu to spread it evenly and thinly. I then realized the heatsink fan was blowing air towards the front of the case when it should be blowing air out. I also ziptied the wires in the case hoping that would help bring temp down.
So for core temp is showing high 30s and low 40s at idle. Plus that thermal paste is suppose to sit for around 200 hours before it reaches full effect. So i dropped the temperature i'd say 10c |
