I bought a Sony DSC-F717 from a friend for really cheap ($100) a while back nothing was wrong with it at all until one day the screen started showing up black and it would take pictures. Turns out the CCD Image chip went bad so its like the lens cap is on kinda thing.

I went to put it on ebay today when i came across a website that pointed me to this:

turns out they knew about the issue and a lawsuit is making them repair it for free! WOOT... im excited because now i dont have to buy a new camera just quite yet

im no professional photographer so i dont need anything really fancy but for its time this was an awesome camera and still takes really nice pics *excited*
