Hi,
I downloaded the Core Temp app. from Npultra, and it seems that there is a lot of difference between the different applications that monitoring the heat of the CPU.
It seems that the Core Temp show the temperature inside the core, the temperature on the hottest place. The other applications that I have, PC Probe II and I.A. Booster shows the temperature based on the thermal probes on the motherboard or something like that. The temp shown in Core temp is much higher than the others.
I have attached a screenshot with each of the temp. applications running together, taken when the system is almost idle. Running, 11 Internet explores, Soundmax, MSN, and the temp apps only.
Now I will try make it crunch some numbers to see if it is really stable and how heat goes up. |
