an acer came with one gig ram better processor still ghey vista but this one has bluetooth double the harddrive and a few other goodies... all in all was a great upgrade lol |
i'd make sure it has XP drivers, heh. At work i've had several people come in that wanted to downgrade from Vista to XP because Visual Studio 2005/2003 can be a bit buggy with Vista, a lot of the 'vista ready' computers fail to mention that they dont support XP, which leaves you SOL if you want to install it and your wireless/ethernet card doesnt have XP drivers. Generic/Similar drivers werent much of a help either, I've spent a lot of hours trying to get XP to work fully on pre-loaded vista laptops.
