It may not be totally dry, but any air in the lines can cause issues. Is the tubing clear? Have a look for air.
Many times air can get trapped in places you can't see (like in the pump or in the reservoir) and make start ups tougher.
The system eventually runs quieter, right? Once you get the system running smoothly you can try running with the fill cap off and adding fluid as you go... make sure the fill area is at the high point of the system for this though, so the air rises up. |
