My DFI has a jumper to control this and when a front-port block is connected, the jumper space is used up by the connector. If the connector is done backwards, the result is what you have. Of course, in my situation, it doesn't matter as I have a NewQ Platinum which is an old-school method for having front audio (and FM). I suggest that you review your motherboard manual and double check your connections and, if you're 110% positive that it's as it should be, then check the software settings as BB suggested. It sounds to me like your speakers are outputting from the headphone jack and the headphones are connected as speakers. |
