I tried silencing a server (It's the first time Speedfan lets me down!), I ended up unplugging 3 fans and using a fanmate, the noise is almost bearable now, which I could mess with the actual hardware...
I also moved furniture around in the den to help my roomba roam (and found missing loafers  ) and spent some time watching anime while there.
Finally I made a scrumptious blueberry cheesecake and sent pictures to a female friend so she would just run over to get some. I guess she has not read her email yet...
Cheesecake!
Next up is some more anime (Ghost in the Shell 2nd Gig) and emptying a closet of old machines so I can stick noisy servers in there.
If that girl doesn't run over here and realize I'd make the best boyfriend ever, I think I'll start porting some of my old Commodore 64 software to C#. 
Oh yeah, I also finished "A fire upon the deep" by Vernor Vinge. Very good. Very similar to Brin's Uplift in some ways.
Also I have a cold. Pretty ordinary sunday overall. |
