Yea, 64 bit XP sucks... I know I run it.

600W for 2 8800GTS's... I wouldn't. If I were to look at that math again 26A * 2 = 52A. The 600W is 49A.

Heck if you look at the site, the quad 750 is the one certified for the 8800GTX's, so that would be the one I'd go with.

System Requirements:

Quote:
FEAR -
* Windows 2000/XP
* Pentium III 1.8 Ghz
* 512MB RAM
* 64MB DirectX 9.0 video card
* 16X CDROM
* DirectX 9.0 compatible sound card
* Keyboard
* Mouse

Oblivion-
* Windows XP
* Pentium 2Ghz
* 512MB RAM
* 128MB DirectX 9.0 video card
* 8x DVDROM
* DirectX 9 compatible sound card
* Keyboard
* Mouse

So... any questions on which one uses more "juice" from the system?

So, you're saying that Oblivion takes more power to run than FEAR, so that is why it is not starting, due to insufficient power?

I'm going to load Win32 on my system tonight and see what it plays. That will show if it's the driver's or not.
