Right now, depending on how much you want to spend, it might be best just to upgrade the GPU (assuming you have PCI-E). I don't believe they are manufacturing new models of the 939's (could be wrong though), it is a dead end format. Figure if you switch over to an AM2 board, you have to get, CPU, MB, Memory. Figure around $500 or $600 for the three. Post your current specs and how much you want to spend and we could probably give you a better idea on your options.

If you get one of those two boards, it really depends on your skill level. If you know/want to really tweak the mb bios, the DFI Expert is a great mb. However there are many incompatibilities with it.

If you just want a really good plug-n-play mb, the Asus will probably be your best bet.

Here's my specs..... I definitely want to do some overclocking, but not necessarily to the extreme. As long as I can get a decent clock out of an Opti 170 or something I think I'd get the Asus. Would be worth checking out my current components for compatibility w/ the DFI board though. I want to get a new gpu first, a 7950GT prob, and a bigger storage drive. Then I'm not sure if I should go for the processor first, or memory, I've got 1 GB so prob the processor right (dual core)?
