Not to throw a fly in the ointment, but my laptop battery times were nearly identical between Window MCE and Vista RC1. Anywhere from 3H45M to 4h45M depending on what i was doing. Battery times may be slightly less with Vista, but it wasn't enough for me to take notice.
The only way I'll be "buying" Vista is with a free upgrade from the next copy of Windows MCE I buy.
