haha no kidding. 
Not to worry, I'm sure they will look cuter once they are getting older. Most small animals look ugly when newborn. Ever seen baby squirrels or mice?  But once they get their fur they are so cute! Not sure if it's like that with gerbils though. Let's hope they get nicer.
