Seems i only visit these fourms when i want well informed opinons on new hardware, i should come around more often but always get tied up enjoy the new machine with games to much Smile

Anyhow, i had a koolance water cooled case ( i know very nubby) well i transported it 1,000 miles and had problems and some leakage on my videocard... and maybe the motherboard to i am not 100% sure. Either way i am going to to build a new machine with PCI express and have not kept up with current comp hardware. Video cards especially.

I am cannibalizing these parts:
PSU: 480 Antec i believe, modular.
CPU: Athlon 3000+ (1.8ghz) 939
RAM: 2 gigs ( 4 sticks) DDR 400 2-2-2-5 Patriot
Sound card: External Sound Blaster Extigy
Monitor: Hitachi 22 Inch CRT ( Outdated, but it stil work's and i am going for cheap yet effective)
HD: 80 Raptor, 2 250sata, 2 120 IDE ( thinking i need exernal enclosures for these takes up to much room.) Thinking of getting a 30 gig raptor and just putting my windows and a few other programs on there so formating is simple and easy.

Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811146029
Video Card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814130061

Mobo:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813135175

I am going air cooled because i Will have to transport my comp back and fourth car rides, maybe outside shipping if i have to, going to to moving alot, i don;t want to have to worry about any leakage or anything. Case seems like it would have good airflow, plus i am Going to College in the UP of Michigan so if it gets hot, i figure an open window will be better then any kind of expensive cooling system Smile

The video cards i don;t know much on, i had a 4600 a while ago, thing was beautiful lasted me 3 years of good gaming, went ATI, i didn;t like it so i am staying with nvidea from now on i think.

The mobo, i just kind of picked out, didn;t do much reaserch on it, i checked the asus boards but read some mixed reviews on it, also i don;t believe i am going SLI, don;t have the cash so i don;t wanna pay for it.

Anyhow how does all of this look?
