Hmm, I don't know specifically about iTunes, but it sounds like the sampling rate was changed. I believe that the default should be 48,000 Hz. Check in iTunes settings or in the sound card settings (control panel) to see if it was changed to 24,000 Hz (double speed) or 96,000 Hz (half speed).
What sound card does he have? Also, depending on the format of the song, try playing them in WinAMP and see if you get the same result. |
