FFVII wasn't very linear by comparison to many games. The story is for the most part set in stone but for a game that supports over 300 hours of quality play, featuring a dynamic plot would increase the production time, creation difficulty, and overall size of the game drastically. Imagine the cost let alone having to switch to disk 20. The game might as well be a standalone system. FFVII at least had a world map you could walk around, try playing FFX, the worst of the FF series, save maybe Mystic Quest. _________________ 65 66 67...easy as 1 10 11 |
