In the meantime, I'm practicing with some mushrooms I found in the fridge. The game should be out by the time my giant mutant pizza mushrooms are ready to take over the world. 
I've wanted a game like Spore before they came out with SimLife. They couldn't decide if it was a tool or a game, so it became neither. Oh well! Can't wait!  I did hear somewhere that mutations have costs associated with them so you can't just evolve to the finished creature - that sounds good, but it's probably taking a long time to get all the game balanced out...
Also apparently your creations will be shared with other users, but I wonder if there will be room for actual modding of the game - I doubt it, but that could be fun too! |
