Only solution I know of is using all Linux with X over SSH. The X server is all on one, while the others just have a basic Linux install and connect to the X server. The X server does all the GUI rendering. There's very low overhead on the local desktop, while you'll need a good server, but you can have everything on one single system and login on multiple desktops....if my understanding what you've said is correct. |
