Apparently they need to update some stuff to be able to use smartd with SATA drives (Hmmmm how long as SATA been out? And yet the open-source community hasn't ported everything over to support them yet???).
You can turn it off though, it's just to monitor the SMART features of the HDDs. You just won't get a warning if the HDD's are failing is all. |
