No I didn't install anything on the computer itself, I am using the built in NIC on the Mobo. All I did was disconnect the cat5 cable from the modem and connect to the router and configure it.
I did get a Vm from her today saying she called Dell and was told to do the following: Unplug the PSU, then press and hold the power button for 10 seconds, connect the PSU and done. So far this seems like it worked! They said it dissapates the static charge on the mobo...does that make sense? |
