Yea, I used to go 10GB for my C: but have increased it to 15GB and 20GB depending on the machine. Too many apps, and other crap 
My typical set-up for my game machine is:
HD 1 (80GB SATA)
C: 20GB (OS/Utilities)
D: 60GB (Downloaded Installers)
HD 2 (200GB SATA)
E: 60GB (Games)
F: 140GB (Music/Video/Pictures/Graphics)
Put the Games on the second drive so if it's trying to load something within XP/another app, it doesn't cause issues with the game... |
