Are you saying that if you put in a desktop computer in your shed/garage that it will make your laptop signal stronger?
If so... yea I don't think so. However if you are asking if a Desktop PCI NIC tends to get a better signal then that's correct.
You can also, depending on the router, either boost the signal or add higher gain antennas and get a stronger signal as well. Also a PCMCIA card gets a better signal than a built-in card. |
