i have a gateway laptop with a wireless g build in . and my signal is weak but still able to pick up in my shed /garage . so here is my question . i have heard that if i put a desk top unit in my shed/garage with a wireless card in it .my signal should be much stronger is this true or a wise tale .i hate to spend the bucks for a wireless g nic card for my desk top only to find out i cant get or recive a signal in the shed .im using a linksys wireless g 2.4 broadband router with speed boost .and i buy a speed boost for the desktop if i can get signal. whats your feeling it work and be stronger signal or about the same or worst ? |
