What did you actually do? Install a PCI wireless card? USB? PCMCIA?
You do have a touch for computer magic, but I have one question... Did you verify that Wake On LAN is disabled, or are you counting on her to have checked? My recollection is that the skillz aren't too strong, and you might want to check first hand!
Other than that, there could be other Wake On events triggering it, maybe a sticky power switch, or probably not likely a short. |
