I have a machine that has Norton's Antivirus 2006 on it. I like NAV I have never in the at least 5 years that I have been using Symantec products seen what is going on with NAV 06. The program is fine except for the fact that it will not access Symantec's servers for a LiveUpdate. It keeps telling me that it cannot access my ISP. I have it hooked up to our bench here in the shop and it's on a LAN and accesses the internet just fine except for the liveupdate. I have run serveral full virus scans all up to date and run spyware scans with Adaware, Spybot, Microsoft Antispyware, Webroot Spysweeper, and the free version of spyware doctor, as well as hijack this. It still will not access live update. If any knows of a solution to this problem or has had this happen to them before let me know if you can. Any suggestions would be very helpful. thanks!!!    |
