Obviously to the powersupply, but the power supply is supposed to ground the rest of the system as well. Only having a ground wire go only to the motherboard would be a bad thing.
So with out having the case grounded you're not properly grounding your devices. The wires going to each device does NOT include a grounding source.
This is also a problem with acrylic cases - the good cases include an extra grounding wire that goes to each device. |
