I just bought a Shuttle nForce2 Ultra 400 board, and although its a cheap board, it is pretty sweet so far... this one
It has lan, sound, usb 2.0, firewire, ATA-133, dual channel ddr, and supports 266, 333, and 400 MHz fsb'ed chips up to the XP3200+ for $69!! Not bad at all!
As far as psu's, I like Enermax, Thermaltake, and Enlight... and would stay away from Vantec (or PC Toys). I haven't looked at any that have pre-wrapped cables, but know that will add some $$ to the price of a good unit. |
