Well, I agree with these...
1.Technology changes to much
2. Fear of the unknown or different things
3. Lazy. They dont care to learn it. The time in which it would take to learn this stuff does not outway the cost to just have some one else do it for them.
But I would change 3 to just Lazy, and make the rest of it 4.
Why? I'm not lazy I know computers inside and out. BUT ask me something about a car engine, and I could barely tell you how to change the oil (ok, so I'm not THAT car ignorant, just an example). Not that I'm lazy, just no interest in how it works, yet I drive it all the time. I would rather take it to somebody that knows WTF that strange sound is rather than pop the hood and figure it out.
Oh, and I have built a car from the frame up before, just no interest in it, so don't have any desire to do it. |
