Hmmm, BSD isn't Linux, it's UNIX. And yes, there is a difference (although moderate). Anyway, consider Gentoo Linux. It takes a bit longer to install, but you really learn the interior of Linux in the install process.
Otherwise, Fedora Core 4 (final should be released this Monday) is the latest of the Red Hat line for most users, if you don't want to go with Red Hat Enterprise or CentOS (RHEL repackaged and free to use). _________________ 5 home-built PCs, ASUS A6Jc Laptop, and a PowerEdge 2650 - all running Gentoo.
