I used to do that... but not any more. I pretty much wait 2 yrsish for a complete upgrade anymore. In the last couple of years we've simply gone from a slower version of the Athlon/P4 to faster versions.
Yea, they both came out with 64 bit version, but no software OS support. Now there is OS support but little to no software.
And what sucks for me is right now I have a ATi 9800 Pro that still keeps up with all games I need... but to upgrade to a new mobo I have to get a new video card.
Guess age, and having kids & a mortgage change your upgrade schedule.... |
