check what version the CD brings... if the one from nVidia is more recent, install the standalone one... and yes, it has to have the chipset driver...

If you decide for the CD, it should give you the option to install drivers individually... so use the ones you need...

Also, check the Asus site for updates on the different component drivers... (sometimes they do MB specific changes to the drivers... specially Asus)

EDIT: I think I get what you are saying, because it's not listed in the readme (the chipset driver), but I have always installed the unified package for my nF2 board without a problem...
