To be honest with a stunt like that you would fool most people I'm thinking. As a cashier, your not expecting that especially if your trying to keep traffic moving.
I like BB's $10.01 example better than that one... thats just plain mean. It's not easy to subtract 22 - 7 in your head... omg... you have to think more than say.... 10-5 (maybe cuz you remember 10-5's solution?) |
Yea... but they don't even have to think, they only have to count... He handed me $22.26.. hmmm better enter that into the register. I swear I did something like that once and a cashier told me "But it's only $7?" I older her... "Just enter it in to the register"... she did and then said "OOO I get you want a five" (not an exact replay of the event, but close enough).  My Gawd, we're only taking addition and subtraction here.
The one Misty's talking about the manager had to show the cashier how to figure out 10% on the calculator , and then as we were walking off, the cashier asked the manager to show her how to do that again.. |
