I don't think I want to do it personally, but they don't HAVE to either.
To answer the previous question, in addition to cPanel/WHM access, I do have root access through SSH. I just don't touch much that way, unless I really know what I am doing.
WHM/cPanel is just a GUI for managing the server, and uses the same credentials as SSH, in general. |
