Anyone else in the area?

I used to listen to these guys all the time... Especially on the drive home. Funny DJs, and a good mix of hard rock... new stuff!

Well, this week they changed formats right out of the blue! Now its more classic rock, and softer new rock. Where a ride home used to feature music from Alice in Chains, Korn, and all the new rock bands... Yesterday's ride home had me listening to Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, and Bruce Springsteen. Nothing wrong with them, but not what I want... And there are a half dozen stations like this already.

All the DJs are gone, too. No one speaks live between songs. No song intros, no jokes about current events... Just commercials and lame songs.

There is now no "new" rock / alternative station in the NYC area! You think this massive population could support at least one?!?

I even went to their website www.krockradio.com to express my beef, and they have changed that too! No more instant feedback or message board. Just a big link to a stream of the new crap online! Bang Head
